This is where I display my model kits I've built or am in the process of building...

Growing up in Southern Michigan, I was a child of the 60's and spent many hours reading  Famous Monsters of Filmland along with a steady dose DC and Marvel comics on the side.   Saturday afternoons were spent watching "Sir Graves Ghastly " our local Horror Host out of Detroit as he hosted the old Universal Monster films and various other B horror films...

That in turn led to my falling in love with building and painting the Aurora Monster and Superhero model kits...  I'd save up the money I earned cutting lawns and delivering the newspaper,  then on the weekends I'd take that money, ride my bike to  the local Five & Dime and pick up a new model kit.    

Then puberty hit and my attention turned from Monsters, Comics and Model Kits to Girls and Cars... 

Fast forward a few decades and I found myself right back were I was at 10 years old, in love with Monsters, Comic Book Heroes and Model kits all over again and Life is wonderful...
 
I've been back at this since early 1999 and don't see myself stopping again anytime soon.  My model building interests lie primarily in figure kits, though I I will build an occasional Spaceship or other non- figure kit.
